💸 How Does the Tip Feature Work?

Ever wanted to show some love to your favorite player, streamer, or community member? The Tip feature lets you do just that — quickly and securely.

🔍 What is Tipping?

Tipping is a way for clients to send real funds directly to other users as a gesture of appreciation or support. It’s fast, secure, and super simple to use.

🎛️ How to Send a Tip

Go to the profile tab of the person you want to tip or use the /tip function in the chat.
Enter the amount you'd like to send.
Confirm with a one-time password (OTP) — just like making a withdrawal.
Done! The receiver gets a notification with your username attached.

🚫 Note: You can't tip hidden profiles unless you're interacting with them via the site chat (where their username is visible).

💼 Tip Transactions – What You Should Know

Only real, withdrawable funds can be used — bonus funds won’t work.
Tips count as deposits for the receiving client's Profile stats.

✅ Who Can Use Tipping?

To send or receive tips, both parties must:
Have an active account - if either account is suspended or closed for any reason the Tip will not be successful.
Not have any active Bet Smart tools - ie if you are on a break or excluded you cannot receive tips.
The account must either have completed Level 2 Verification or have not yet reached our verification requirement. If we have requested ID verification on your account, you will not be able to receive tips until the process is complete. Similarly, if your ID verification is in a Pending or Failed state, tipping will not be possible. If you are not sure on your account status, reach out to our support team .

🚫 When Will a Tip Fail?

A tip won’t go through if:

Tipping has been disabled globally - eg if the devs are making changes.
The sender or receiver of a tip is not able to receive/send tips.
Either the sender or receive has an active Bet Smart tool active.
Either the sender or receiver's account is inactive.
The tip amount is higher than the sender’s withdrawable balance.
Either the sender or receive have hit their Tip limit.

⚠️ A Few Final Things to Keep in Mind

Tipping is final. There’s no undo button, so double-check the username and amount before you hit send.
A OTP is always required to complete the tip, adding an extra layer of security.
